Who am I?

I’m Khalil. I am a Mechanical Engineer who is also a Journeyman welder, a Mechanical Engineering Technologist and Welding Engineering Technologist. Throughout the years I have worked as a fabricator, welder, drafter, inspector, consultant and many other positions along the way. Over my career spanning 12 years I have come to explore many different sectors of industries. My journey up until now has taken me into heavy equipment repair, crane installation, structural steel welding, ironworking, fabricating, bridge construction, drafting and design, oil and gas, naval marine as well as hydroelectric.

What is K-Fab?

I wanted to have a place where I could detail some unique engineering , fabricating and welding subjects which I have had the pleasure of learning about during my career. I also make small home décor and sculptures in my free time which are available on my Etsy page.

Who is the site for?

I’ve created this site as a means to have anyone and everyone come and learn something, whether its something new or something you want to relearn. Also, I enjoy dic=sucssing engineering and welding so feel free to leave comments throughout my blog posts and we can have a chat.
